What will I need at my real estate closing?

It depends upon whether you are the buyer or the seller. Here’s the breakdown:


If you are the buyer:
   - your drivers license or other identification,
   - your social security number,
   - proof of hazard insurance coverage,
   - a certified check for the amount required from you

If you are the seller:
   - your drivers license or other identification
   - your social security number,
   - copies of your home inspections, if applicable
   - a copy of the most recent survey, if applicable
   - the current deed for the sale property
